        Okay, it's a little while since I've posted on here as I've been giving a lot of thought to how I want to run my Blog, including my Book section.

       Now, I love reading and usually have three or four books on the go. All quite different and always know where I am in each book ~ never get muddled as to who is doing what and where! I'm also in planning mode with my Work in Progress (WiP) ~ that's a whole other posting ~ as well as a slight re-editing of The Longing before I hit the querying trail once more. 

 

     I love having this blog...trying to juggle everything...So! Instead of giving a review of  the books I've read each month, I've decided to approach things differently, for now anyway. I'll still post what I'm reading each month ~ the books I've enjoyed the most and recommend for you to read ~ and offer one review of a book I really enjoyed reading and think you might like too. 

 

     Incidentally, some people have asked on social media why I never give a negative review of a book? There's a good reason for that, being books are subjective. I might read a book and not enjoy, can't get into it, can't finish it, whatever. Thing is, that doesn't make it a 'bad' book, it's simply a book that's not for me. Writers put their heart and soul into their work and I simply don't want to put a damper on their day. On the other hand, if I love their work I'll seek them out and let them know!
