January 2019

A new year already, how did that happen? Don't we say this to each other every January?

From now on in my book section, I'm going to highlight books that I've really enjoyed reading rather than a review per se. As usual they will be no spoilers, as I don't think that's fair to the writers to give their game away. As a reader I've always like an overview of a book ~ I don't want to find out what happens!

Already I have a favourite book ~ one that I started over the holidays and finished on the 2nd January.

What would you do if you came home to find someone moving into

your home ~ that you haven't sold or made available? Your husband is nowhere to be found and your children are not at school? What's going on?

Our House is superbly plotted, with many twists and turns, a real page turner. The twist at the end!

Thoroughly enjoyed and I read the second half of the book in one sitting yesterday ~ putting my own writing time to one side as I just had to find out what happened next.
