My 16 year old Writer Self

A letter to my 16 year old self from Debbie, my Greek pen friend. In case you can't read it, she writes,

" The most interesting part of your letter was your dream to be a writer. Well, I think that you have a 'good pen' as we are saying here, but you haven't the necessary experience. If you want to write a really GOOD book you must wait!!"

Wait I did, as I got on with life, stuff gets in the way of what you really want to be doing. But what a rich seam of experience life has given me! I dabbled then with writing, now I'm serious.
